Code of Conduct-Students
The aim of education is to guide students in the process through which they shape themselves as humane persons, armed with knowledge, strength of judgment, and moral values; while at the same time conveying to them the spiritual heritage of the nation and the civilization in which they are involved.

The code of conduct has been formulated to foster and protect the core values of ATC. The code of conduct enables student to take sound decision and deal with situations wisely. It’s a broad framework for approaching morals from the universal perspective. The following acts shall be considered as code of conduct:
- 1. Students must observe the timings mentioned in Daily Routine.
- 2. Students must get their haircut at regular intervals.
- 3. Students must move in an orderly manner while they are moving in the school premises.
- 4. Students must take care of the school property. A fine will be imposed in case of damage/ offence done by students.
- 5. No student should use any foul language against any teacher, student, or any other person.
- 6. Bullying is strictly prohibited inside the school premises.

- 7. The College shall observe all public holidays declared by the Government and additional holidays including vacations that are announced. The presence of required employees will however be ensured by the management.
- 8. Leave will be granted on the basis of a written application, verified by House Master and countersigned by the principal.
- 9. Leave for attending weddings will only be allowed for one day if it is of real brother/sisters, after the provision of wedding card at least one week in advance.
- 10. Requests for extension of will not be entertained.
- 11. Students are not allowed to keep mobile phones. Use of the college land line telephone and mobile telephones will be regulated according to rules to be circulated from time to time.
- 13. Mobile phones once deposited with the House Maters will only be issued on Sunday (morning till sunset) and then will be deposited back with House Masters.
- 12. No student is allowed to keep mobile phones with multimedia and camera. Only simple mobile phones without camera are allowed.

- 14. Any student keeping a mobile phone in his own custody will face serious disciplinary action.
- 15. The monthly pocket money has been included in college dues. Students may not keep more than Rs. 500 with themselves. Any amount in excess and valuables should be kept with the House Master which will be available to the students once required.
- 16. Our students start their day with the name of Allah the most merciful and beneficent. The Morning Assembly begins with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran followed by English or Urdu translation.
- 17. The essentials of religion are taught in classrooms where Islamiat is a compulsory subject. In order to give a better understanding of the Quran and religion QLP has been initiated in Mosque. Religious education in the classroom is supplemented by five-time prayers (for which provision is made in the College Routine).
- 18. The promotion to the next class depends upon the student’s academic performance. A student, who fails to display the required standard, will have to face serious consequences as deemed appropriate and it may lead to termination or demotion.
- 19. For the internal assessment of the students, terminal tests are conducted. Annual Promotion Examinations are held in March during the academic year. In the terminal examination, they are tested from the course covered during the term while in the annual promotion examination, they are tested from the whole course covered over the academic year. The students failing in one or two papers with less than 70% are promoted conditionally if he is unable to cover his weakness in the first terminal examination then he will be reverted to the previous class.
- 20. Students who fail in two or more subjects in the Annual Promotion Examination are detained in the same class. Those who fail for the second time shall be withdrawn from the college. Minimum passing marks are 60%.
- 21. The designated guest of students will be allowed to visit the college on the 1st and 3rd Sundays in the Morning from 0900hrs to 1100hrs and in the afternoon from 1400hrs to 1700hrs.
- 22. Inter-house Urdu/English debates, essay writing Qirat, spelling bee, quiz competitions, etc. are held regularly. In addition, there are other competitions in games and sports.
- 23. The College attaches great importance to education visits and excursions. Visits to various institutions and places of historical importance are arranged regularly.

The following acts shall be considered misconduct:
- 1. Humiliating, insulting, or hurting the religious, cultural, linguistic, or sectarian feelings of others.
- 2. Showing disrespect for teachers, elders, and those in authority in the college.
- 3. Littering and spitting.
- 4. Coming late to classes, to the mess, to college activities and function or willful absence from any of the activities
- 5. Examination offence like cheating.
- 6. Causing loss or damage to college or public property.
- 7. Violating and rule made by the college.
- 8. Possession of electric and electronic goods like radios, tape/DVD recorder, heaters, electric irons and mobile phones etc.
- 9. Raising slogans of any nature against the college the management or any other person or body in any manner of demonstration.
- 10. Visiting those places which have been/are declared out of bounds for students from time to time.
- 11. Failing to rejoin on expiry of authorized leave.
- 12. Absence without leave for three or more days.
- 13. Shouting, abusing, and/or using physical force on any person.
- 14. Cheating, lying, stealing, and acts of moral turpitude.
