Admission
 

Based on quota system, admissions are given / offered in 6th class only. The quota is fixed as under:-
Four Provinces @    15 each                   60
                                FATA / FANA       10
                                AJK                        10
                                                Total =   80
Admission tests for new entry are held throughout the country including FATA, Northern Areas and AJK. Admissions are finalized upon the number of students appearing in a particular centre. The test comprises two phases i.e. preliminary and final selection test. Advertisements are  published in well-famed newspapers to hunt the talent throughout the country. Contacts are made with the Principals / Headmasters of the Govt. as well as private schools through concerned EDOs to look for such resource constrained brilliant students.

Eligibility criteria for appearing in the test:-

  • The candidate must belong to some rural area
  • His parents are unable to provide quality education
  • He should be a student of class V on 31st December in the year preceding the admission test
  • On 31st March of the year of admission, the candidate should be 12 years of age
  • Registration form should be submitted by 31st of December to Incharge Admission Ali Trust College Islamabad. The candidate will retain a photocopy of the registration form
  • At the time of preliminary test, the candidate is required to show photo copy of the Registration Form for the issuance of Roll Number slip. In the preliminary test, the prescribed syllabus is the one approved by respective provincial education department in the subjects of English, Urdu, Mathematics and General Science. Whereas the prescribed syllabus for final test is the one taught in FG Schools of Islamabad and approved by the curriculum wing of the Ministry of Education
  • Admission is granted strictly on merit and the decision of the college is final
  • Hafiz-e-Quran is given relaxation in age up to 2 years.

Centres of Preliminary Entrance Test:-
            In all the four provinces including AJK, FATA and Northern Areas, Test centres are allocated keeping in view the geographical proximity and convenience of the applicants. Remote areas are given special considerations. Almost every deserving area is visited so that the students of that area may join the main stream and play their due role in the uplift of their own areas and the nation as well.
